Miller Gaffney '02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau '03 host "Art Breakers," which airs on Sunday at 8 pm on the Ovation cable channel. It is a look at their lives as art brokers that connect collectors, buyers and artists. The couple recorded four episodes the couple and will air all month long beginning Sunday, October 4, at 7pm Central. Ovation is the home of more than 50 million subscribers and promotes artists through the Ovation Digital Arts network. They are hopeful of getting approval to film more. My life has been shaped by the Baylor friends I have made and the acquaintances I've met. Karen Pope from the Art History department. I took a lot of my classes for my major under Dr. Pope, and traveled with her to Paris and Chicago to learn about art. Her teaching style made art study great fun, and a week does not go by without me recollecting her sayingthat "Art History is a massive puzzle, and as art historians, we keep looking for pieces to fit together." My father was in the car business, and I had to work in the dealership each summer. I worked as a mechanic's assistant replacing brake pads and oil during the summer.
